Description For a limited time Southern Maine Healthcare is offering a $500.00 sign on bonus for Companion Sitters* *Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Companion/Sitter position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. Maine Medical Center Biddeford/Sanford is seeking a Companion Sitter to join the team. This uniquely fulfilling position supports the unit and staff by providing observational support for patients that need eyes on support, as well as, support to patients through hands-off direct, one on one engagement. 8 hour shifts Come join us! Summary: The Bedside Companion - Acute Care role provides supervision and close observation of selected patients for identified behaviors. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. 2. License/Certifications: N/A 3. Experience: Relevant experience preferred. 4.
