Summary
This position will be responsible for performing quality control checks and maintaining the quality control program at the hatchery facility.
This position has a target wage of $18.00 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications. Overtime may be available.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs process audits. These audits include, but are not limited to, Inovo vaccination, box counts, vaccine preparation, hatchery BMP and poultry welfare, as well as general housekeeping of all areas of the hatchery.
Performs routine temperature checks on incubation equipment as directed by management.
Conducts routine moisture loss surveys and residue breakout analysis as directed by management.
Trained as a backup vaccine mixer for both chick processing and transfer crew.
Monitors chemical use, facility bio-security and facility sanitation both visually and by plating, daily, weekly, and monthly.
Associate will also be responsible for filling chemical barrels, fogging the facility, and filling in on the line when needed.
Minimum Education
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience Requirements
One year experience.
Reading and writing skills required.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Exposed to temperatures ranging from 60 to 150 degrees F. and humidities up to 100%.
Exposed to chemicals, drugs, and vaccines to be covered in MSDS training and hazardous communications.
Use of personal protective equipment as required.
Ability to lift 10 lbs. boxes from conveyor and stack on dollies and push loaded dollies weighing 105 lbs. a distance of 100 ft.
Must be able to bend and reach 5” from floor to 6' in height.
Able to stand in one position for up to 2.5 hours.
