Employeesmay be assigned additional duties by management as required.Read water meters and enter readings into handheld device.Upload and download information from handheld device to utility office software so that utilitybills can be processed.Re-read water meters for suspicious usage.Turn water meters off for non-payments.Install new water meters for new accounts.Pull water meters for miscellaneous reasons.Perform other related duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Requires High School diploma, or GED.LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:Requires a valid drivers license.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Requires one year of related experience.AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES REQUIREMENTSPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Requires medium work involving standing or walking all of the time, exerting 20 to 50 pounds offorce on a regular basis, and considerable dexterity and skill in operating machinery, tools, oroffice equipment.UNAVOIDABLE HAZARDS:The position is exposed to no unusual environmental hazards.
