Description

This position reports to a supervisor of quality control and is responsible for providing inspection support and quality oversight for production maintenance. The areas of responsibility will include; heavy, component, and line maintenance, with some manufacturing. Must be certified under Part 65 and be willing to work under Parts 21, 91, 121, 125, 135, and 145. Working knowledge of non-destructive testing is preferred.

Required Job Skills:

  • HSD/GED
  • Ability to read drawings and blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
  • structures and systems. Good interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, work in small places, adverse weather, using safety equipment.
  • Travel required.
  • FAA A&P license
  • General knowledge of CFR's, working knowledge of ATA style maintenance manuals, and aircraft parts catalogs.

Preferred Job Skills:

  • Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) training and/or experience in x-ray, ultrasonic, eddy current,
  • magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection methods and equipment.

  • Prefer 5 years' experience in maintenance of large transport aircraft.
