Apicha Community Health Center's mission is to provide affordable healthcare for underserved and vulnerable people living in the New York City boroughs and on the lower east side of Manhattan. Our rapidly growing medical facilities are seeking to fill multiple positions with hard-working, professionally minded, and socially conscious individuals who believe in our core values and are passionate about helping others.Position Summary: The Manager of Marketing and Communications (MMC) is an important member of external affairs and administrative team. The (MMC) oversees Apicha CHC's communications and community-building efforts, including marketing and public relations implementation, as well as, developing marketing and communications in the health center. This role is essential to the health center's ability to increase access to important health care services, especially to marginalized and medically underserved communities.The major duties of the position include, but are not limited to:MarketingConceptualize and executing on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring alignment of communications and messaging in all channelsManage content and updates for customers and internal touch points and establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes and provide sales supportGather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leadsIdentify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordinglyPresent ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgetsCommunicationsExecute marketing plans in conjunction with Digital Marketing Specialist and consultantsImplement and manage public relations activitiesManage and maintain up-to-date communications listsManage the dissemination of communications to Apicha CHC's various communications listsSteward and monitor the Apicha CHC brand and brand identity to ensure consistency is maintained both internally and externallyAnalysis, Reporting and AdministrationMonitor, measure, and report the progress of various communications initiativesMonitor and report patient online feedbackRoutinely track progress of marketing and communication efforts and develop reports as requiredStaff ManagementDirectly supervise Digital Marketing Specialist (DMS) and assist in managing consultants for marketing strategy, public relations, and design based on their scope of workEnsures staff adherence to social media policies and proceduresDevelop materials to educate staff on communication practicesCoach and assist team members on improving communication skillsTrain interns, as necessarySelf-DevelopmentKeeps up-to-date knowledge of trends in the local healthcare environments, as it pertains to Apicha CHC's target communities and best communications' practicesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in related field of communication, marketing or public relations with three (3) or more years of experience requiredExperience in supervising paid staff preferred.Excellent written and verbal communications skillsProven work experience in communications requiredFluency in Spanish or Asian languages, especially Bengali or Chinese, a plusExperience working with the following groups a plus: Asian and Pacific Islanders, Immigrants, and LGBTQIAbility to work as part of a teamAbility to occasionally work during evenings and weekendsMust be competent in common office applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point; and, Adobe SuiteExperience with Hubspot, Constant Contact, or/and Salesforce a plus
