Maintenance Technician Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for an aerosol canister production company in Woodstock, GA. You'll be responsible for maintaining machinery, ensuring smooth production, and working with production equipment. This is your chance to make an impact and advance with a growing team.This is a Direct Hire Position!Pay Rate $29.00 per hour, increases to $30.00 per hour following training period. Schedule and Hours Monday through Thursday, 4:30 pm to 2:00amFour-day work week, three-day weekend*Must be available to train on first shift through the end of the yearMaintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maintain production efficiency.
- Set up and adjust packaging and filling equipment per product specifications.
- Quickly identify and resolve filling line issues to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and prevent breakdowns.
- Implement and read computer coding for equipment adjustments, inspections, and minor repairs.
- Maintain and submit daily downtime sheets to the Plant Manager at the end of each shift.
- Compile and submit weekly reports and logs to the Plant Manager.
- Adhere to all OSHA standards and safety guidelines.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of industrial equipment maintenance or HVAC experience.
- Welding experience and ability to read/input computer code for industrial equipment.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in operating mechanical and power tools.
- Must pass drug screening and background check at time of hire.
