Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES: Set-up and operation of production utility machinery per specifications. Maintains resin/additive levels in blenders and hoppers and perform effective changeovers. Responsible for ensuring the line is running quality film at optimal rate and monitored throughout the shift. Plan for changeovers by having cores cut, material staged, drain time sheets made, packaging supplies ready, etc. Perform QA responsibilities for updating the QA database and double checking verification checklists Perform Floater responsibilities for assisting other setups, watching materials, checking alarms, assisting in packaging of production rolls and change overs Effectively transports finished goods and raw materials to storage areas using a forklift. Effectively handles and documents loose roll scrap for disposition as directed by the production supervisor. Adhere to Berry Global Safety Absolutes and all safety policies while reporting all maintenance and safety issues immediately Participate in continuous improvement of operation. Performs Daily preventive maintenance as assigned Continuously pursue the establishment and reinforcement of a high performance work team environment Maintain good housekeeping practices and clean area as needed. Must work effectively with co-workers as a team member and support safe, quality production Performs and assists in other tasks as directed by supervision/management Maintains Good Manufacturing Practices Complete any other reports as required by senior management. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience working in manufacturing preferred.
