Job Summary: The Inside Sales Rep will work in the Business Development group to maintain and grow current customer base as well as prospect for new business. This position will also be providing leads to the Outside Sales Team utilizing resources such as Salesforce and Dodge Construction. What can Texas First Rentals offer you?   • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Contact existing or prospective customers within the framework of a Business Development call program via phone and email
  • Maintain general knowledge of the phases of construction
  • Maintain strong knowledge of products and/or services
  • Identify all Active & Inactive accounts for Texas First Rentals utilizing Salesforce to indicate no call activity within 90 days
  • Follow up on all accounts with no call activity within 90 days to maintain relationship
  • Speak knowledgeably with decision-makers and decision influencers to provide content and product/service information
  • Obtain information about potential customers, create new contacts, and document results in Salesforce
  • Provide the customer with an equipment line sheet and other sales-related materials as needed, based upon conversation
  • Secure leads by identifying and qualifying sales opportunities and passing them to Sales teams
  • Arrange meetings between existing or prospective customers and Sales representatives, following up with customers after 60 days
  • Research Dodge Construction projects to determine the phase of the jobs and reach out to appropriate contacts, such as owner & GC or Local Territory Rep., with results
  • Document and maintain tasks on job site or prospect account
  • Review open rental contracts daily including Container stores
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the construction and equipment rental industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge of selling techniques (prospecting, overcoming objections, closing sales)
  • Excellent selling, and negotiating skills with the ability to build long-term business relationships
  • Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills, deadline oriented
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one to three years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required; three to five years preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None
Travel:
  • Occasional travel is expected for this position for training
  • Valid driver's license
Physical Requirements:
  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.
  • This role frequently communicates with others, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
Work Environment:
  • This job is generally performed in a professional office environment
  • Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
