It's rewarding to be on a team of people that truly believe in making an impact!We are committed to building the best primary care environment for patients and are seeking healthcare enthusiasts to join us.Job SummaryThe Human Resources Manager will support Cano Health's expansion market and will assist with day-to-day functions of the Human Resources department, including the administration of policies and procedures, employee relations, performance manager and learning & development.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties & Responsibilities* Manages the on-boarding process and collaborates with other disciplines within the organization to secure an effective, efficient process that ensures best practices from a candidate/on-boarding perspective.* Facilitates training sessions for managers on recruitment laws, policies, and practices including effective search processes, interview and selection techniques, and facilitating positive candidate experiences.* Conduct new hire orientation with new associates and follow-up with new hires to ensure a positive on-boarding experience.* Assists managers and supervisors with employee relations issues, ensuring managers follow progressive discipline procedures.* Conduct investigations when associate complaints or concerns are brought forth.* Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.* Assist in preparing and delivering associate communications.* Assists with the performance management, including evaluation of associates (90-day evaluation & semi-annual performance appraisals)* Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance.* Prepares and analyzes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company.* Assists the HRIS/Payroll manager to maintain the payroll database.* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.* Ensure confidentiality and professionalism is maintained when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.Critical Results* Employee relations resolution within 72 hours* On-boarding Plans completed within 24 hours of associate start date with > 100% accuracy* Exit Interviews Completed > 100% of all voluntary terminationsEducation & Experience* Bachelor' Degree in Human Resources or related business field* 5+ years' experience in a human resources position* Professional HR or SHRM certification highly desired* Healthcare and/or hospital experience preferred* Fluent in English and Spanish.Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies* Previous HR experience in a healthcare facility preferred.* Familiarity with benefit administration, advanced HR and Employee Relations functions, basic payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws.* Skilled in written and oral communication.* Ability to communicate with associates, patients and other individuals in a professional and courteous manner.* Ability to pay close attention to detail and to ensure accuracy of reports and data.* Fluent in English and Spanish.Job RequirementsPhysical RequirementsThis position works under usual office conditions. The employee is required to work at a personal computer as well as be on the phone for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, sit, walk and occasionally climb. The incumbent must be able to work extended and flexible hours and weekends as needed. Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
