Bristol Bay Construction Holdings (BBCH) is on the lookout for an experienced Superintendent/Quality Control Manager to join our team, a subsidiary of BBCH. Responsibilities: • Manage overall quality and production of work and conformance to contract documents. • Manage/maintain all necessary planning, direction, coordination, and budgeting for project activities. • Coordinate/communicate with the Project Manager daily. • Coordinate/communicate with the Owner as necessary. • Manage daily subcontractor, contractor, owner, inspector, and AHJ field coordination. • Manage/maintain weekly subcontractor coordination meetings. • Attend/participate in weekly Owner's meetings. • Review and be knowledgeable of the subcontractor's subcontracted scope of work. Manage all coordination necessary to complete the scope of work and prevent extra work or lost time to the greatest extent possible. • Be familiar with the subcontractor's budget and cost structure. • Review and be knowledgeable of the baseline project schedule. Provide monthly input on dates, durations, and coordination. • Prepare weekly short-term detailed look-ahead schedules. • Request, prepare, and hold coordination meetings as necessary to support the project schedule. • Coordinate monthly with the subcontractors and Owner for progress billing. • Prepare for/run/document the three-phase quality control meetings. • Create/manage/update/enforce the project-specific quality control plan. • Review/prepare/submit/track/document all required submittals. • Prepare and manage the project submittal register. • Prepare/submit/manage all RFIs. • Interact/coordinate/work with the client's on-site representative on a daily basis. • Manage deliveries, staging, loading, and unloading. • Supervise onsite equipment usage such as cranes or earth-moving equipment. • Ensure project conformance to national and/or local building codes. • Maintain accurate daily records. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of Superintendent and Quality Control experience on similar projects. • Federal construction experience with NAVFAC, USACE, or Coast Guard is preferred. • Experience managing Government medical construction projects is a plus. • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances as required by the task order (background check and fingerprints). • OSHA 30hr. • CQM-C Certification. • ASHE Healthcare Construction Certification (HCC) is a plus. • Experience with Procore and RMS project management systems. • Proficient with Word, Excel, and PDF. • Communication skills, written and verbal. • Ability to receive and give constructive feedback. • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results. Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining the physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, climbing, or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to; hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Compensation: $120,000-$135,000 per year
