Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Main OR)Location: White Plains, NYShift: Full-Time, Evening (11 AM - 11 PM)Sign-On Bonus: $10,000Salary Range: $110,052 - $145,113Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our surgical team. This role requires an RN who excels in high-pressure environments and can provide compassionate, skilled patient care. You will work closely with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. This position emphasizes safety, quality care, and adherence to standards in patient care and ethics.Key Responsibilities:Deliver individualized patient care, addressing biophysical, psychosocial, and educational needs.Assess, plan, and implement nursing regimens, evaluating and documenting progress.Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and workflow.Support infection control standards and adhere to patient safety goals.Serve as a charge nurse as needed, fostering a positive work environment.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and Magnet model advancement.Mentor and support team members and ensure high standards of care delivery.Qualifications:Registered Nurse license in NY; BSN required.Minimum one year of acute care nursing experience preferred.BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association).Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize effectively, with attention to detail and stress tolerance.Core Competencies:Adaptable, detail-oriented team player.Effective communicator and professional role model.Strong organizational, assessment, and judgment skills.This role offers a rewarding opportunity for an OR nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive, dynamic environment.
