Salary Range: $18 to $22/hr ($37,440 to $45,760) Annually Note: These positions will be based out of the following location: Stockton, CA WHAT YOU GET TO DO The Material Handler is responsible for following processes and instructions as directed by Material Handling Supervisor in accordance with the Installation Department's assigned tasks. The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, sorting, storing, and distributing material in adherence to Knapp standard. The Material Handler will maintain a motivational mindset, will be willing to learn new processes, take on challenges, and be able to work under pressure in order to be successful. Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Performing quality checks on goods received
  • Ordering of missing/damaged materials
  • Moving material for distribution center build out
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
  • Loading, unloading, and receiving conveyor parts for installation
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility
  • Securing loads to the machine before transportation
  • Operating and managing technical equipment
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards
  • Adhering to production/installation schedules
  • Ensure adherence to appropriate industry regional safety standards and safety equipment guidelines
  • Comply with all relevant safety standards
  • Organize and coordinate site logistics
  • Maintain accurate records of work
  • Other job duties as assigned
WHAT YOU HAVE
  • 1+ years in logistics or warehousing experience preferred
  • Valid forklift certificate (please attach a copy of Certificate to your resume if you already have a valid certificate)
  • Proficient in operating technical machinery
Working Conditions and Environment:
  • Overtime, as required by work
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Occasional travel might be required, less than 5%
  • Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, climbing a ladder, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm's length, and lifting 50-100 pounds
