COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $65,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day operations of the dining hall including tasks, motivating, and coaching of employees as required

? Supervise and direct food production planning, waste management, record keeping, follow up, and modification based on client volumes

? Assist with flow of day-to-day operations on the floor to ensure that all residents, clients and peers are treated with respect and empathy

? Assist with training and development of staff; experience managing in a unionized setting is preferred

? Ensure food safety standards and HACCP are always enforced

? Assist in dealing with staff related issues such as vacation requests, progressive discipline, etc.

? Ensure adherence to all of ARAMARK?s and Client Community Policies and Procedures

? Ensure adherence to ARAMARK?s and Client Community Health and Safety Policy

Qualifications

Post-graduate diploma from an accredited Food & Nutrition Management program is preferred

? Certified Dietary Manager certification preferred.

? Certified Food Manager certification required.

? 5+ years food service management experience in long-term care, or residential community is preferred

? Demonstrated leadership; decision making; problem solving and communication skills

? Working knowledge of health and safety, employment, and human rights legislation

? Working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

? Working knowledge of managing unionized labor force, as applicable
