Presentation Specialist

TrialEdge is looking for a talented presentation designer to prepare clear and persuasive presentations and illustrations to be used in legal trials (such as for opening and closing presentations to juries and judges). This is an opportunity for someone who is excited by the prospect of jumping in and working with some of the top lawyers in the country as a key creative member of their trial teams.

The ideal candidate must be a highly creative problem solver who can think quickly and roll with the punches as needed to meet client requirements and deadlines of fast paced legal projects. This position requires creativity mixed with a high level of attention to detail, a positive attitude, flexibility, and grace under pressure.

This position is a mix of remote work, combined with some client work on site in Los Angeles, as well as travel to on site trial locations. Typically away travel is scheduled in 2 week stints, throughout the year at various location such as San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Texas, Delaware, DC, etc. Aside from this periodic on site client work, most work will performed remotely, with some on site team days in our LA office, typically a few days per month.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Proficiency with PowerPoint
• General knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Excellent analytical, creative, and communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements in a fast paced environment
• Ability to be self-directed and willingness to take initiative
• Legal industry consulting experience a plus, but not required
• Living/working in the Los Angeles area is preferred, although working in other locations is potentially an option for the right candidate
• B.F.A. or B.A. degree
• Must have some experience working as a professional graphic designer
• Compensation will be based on experience

Job Responsibilities and requirements

• Creating exceptional graphics, illustrations, and infographics for legal presentations and demonstratives
• Working with lawyers and experts to create persuasive visuals to support legal arguments and tell compelling stories
• Working on site with lawyers as part of a legal trial team
• Ability to travel and work on site: This is a hybrid position. Much of the work is remote throughout the year but also requires periodic travel and extended on-site work (typically 1 1/2 to 2 weeks at a time) to support legal trials in different locations.
