About This Position:

As a recruiter for Craftsmen Resources, you will employ sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and orientation skills to fill open roles in the market. Your work schedule will be Monday – Friday, 07:30a-5:00p, although overtime may be necessary at times. As a recruiter, you will be tasked with the following:

Attract and source qualified candidates.

Thoroughly vet and evaluate candidate qualifications to determine fit for position based on our hiring process.

Facilitate and ensure all hiring paperwork is completed, accurate, and maintained.

Orientate and hire candidates according to company hiring practices and project requirements.

Coordinate with management and/or sales staff to ensure qualified field employees are placed on the appropriate projects

Ensure pre-employment reference documents including reference checks, background checks, and drug screens as necessary according to company practices.

Negotiate wage rates and other compensation according to company practices.

Ensure open orders/projects are staffed in a timely manner.

Meet field employees at the jobsite for their first assignment on the first day of work as necessary.

Be solutions oriented and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Requirements:

Must have at least 4 years of recruiting or hiring experience.

Must have Associates or Bachelor's degree.

Possess good reasoning, communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.

Proficient use of computers and Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, and excel.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Must be able to pass a drug screen test and background check.

HRIS experience is a must.

Construction industry knowledge is a plus.

Pay $40000 - $65000 / year
