DESCRIPTION:
Immediate need for Journeyman or Master Electrician for a solar energy company.
100% traveling job Monday-Friday within a 3 state radius - travel and lodging will be provided.
Full-time, direct-hire position with full benefits, 401k + match.
PAY BANDS:
Journeyman Electrician - $41-$47/hr
Master Electrician - $43 - $49/hr
*Some local states will have a prevailing wage increase
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on various stages of Solar Panel Installation within utility scale solar farms including:
- Terminate combiner boxes
- Panel/LV work
- Install metering equipment
- Layout, bend, thread and install conduit
- Layout and install switchgear, switchboards, and electrical devices
- Trench and install PVC raceway
- Pull and terminate direct bury wire
- Connect and support DC wire
- Install electrical enclosures
- Unload and stage material
- Perform electrical testing and commissioning
- Safely utilize hand and power tools after proper training (Drills, Crimpers, Cutters, etc.)
- Work is performed outside, with exposure to various weather conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Journeyman or Master electrical license
- Solar and underground electrical experience highly preferred
