Job Description :

The Role Spray paint and finish components and parts, per planning and blueprint needs, while meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.Embraces and exemplifies the Umbra Group values of FIRST - Focus on the Customer, Innovation, Respect, Social Responsibility & Teamwork. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform painting and finishing related activities that meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and spray painting systems
  • Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and paint sprayer
  • Follow standard operating procedures when using sealants, paint strippers, and corrosive preventative chemicals
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work order requirements, and engineering documentation
  • Comply with all safety rules and procedures.

Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates and Licenses Ability to pass a physical exam to determine pulmonary function in order to obtain respirator certification. Computer Skills Must be computer literate in Windows Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups employees of the organization.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, and have better than average interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to accomplish the following mathematically, in all units of measure: add, subtract, multiply, divide, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb/balance, reach, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
