Adecco Healthcare is searching for a School Nurse Supervisor, School Nurse (RN), or Residential Group Home RN to become part of our client's team in Rochester, NY - 14620. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity. Salary (depending on experience/education) - School Nurse Supervisor: $66,500-$76,500 per year (equates to $31.97-$36.78 per hour) - School Nurse (RN): $30-$33.66+ per hour - Residential Group Home RN: $30-$33.50 per hour Shift School Nurse Supervisor - Monday-Friday: 8am-4:30pm (Full-Time, 40 hours a week) - No on-call. School Nurse (RN) - Monday-Friday: start either at 7:30am or 8:15am (your choice). - Full-Time (35-40 hours per week). Work 7 or 8 hours (your choice). - No on-call. Residential Group Home RN - Part-Time (20 hours a week) or Full-Time. - Mondays (required): 8am-3pm or 4pm. - Flexible with other days/times. - Weekends are not required, however, available. Can work Thursday-Sunday if you would like. - On-call: not initially, but few months in will be part of rotating schedule for 1 week every 6-7 weeks. Qualifications Required: - RN NY State License. - Minimum of 6 months of professional nursing experience. Preferred: - Experience in providing care and support for clients with developmental disabilities (highly preferred, not required). - Psych-centered experience if no developmental disabilities experience. - If no Developmental Disabilities experience: Open to someone with a personal passion or experience helping patients with developmental disabilities. For School RN, open to Psych, ER, Fast-Paced, Triage, or Critical Care background. For Residental RN, open to home health or hospice experience. - BLS Certification (if don't have, will help you obtain). Job Summaries School Nurse Supervisor Lead and supervise the nursing team, providing daily clinical guidance and support, and ensuring consistent and continuous care. Oversee staff supervision, approve time reporting, and manage caseload assignments to ensure all children receive necessary nursing services. Administer NYS mandated programs and immunizations, document health services, and maintain accurate health records for each student. Act as a liaison between home, school, and community providers, monitor health and safety standards, and participate in the school's multi-disciplinary team. Support the development and implementation of the School Health program, communicate regularly with stakeholders, and pursue professional growth opportunities. School Nurse (RN) Maintain accurate and up-to-date health information for all students, including medication orders and allergy notifications for teachers. Administer prescribed medications, perform daily health assessments, and assist the Licensed Practical Nurse as needed. Provide necessary care during student injuries, record incidents, and instruct staff on health and safety procedures. Ensure the medical cabinet is stocked, administer inoculations, and monitor overall health and safety standards within the school. Residential Group Home RN Regularly interact with residents to build rapport and assess their health status, ensuring communicable diseases and infections are monitored. Complete and maintain accurate documentation using PrecisionCare software, including health information files and nursing service plans. Coordinate medical and health-related services, administer prescribed medications, and ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations. Provide training and support for residential staff, maintain effective communication with healthcare providers, and participate in safety and interdisciplinary team meetings. Additionally, handle on-call responsibilities, review incident reports, and assist with medical protocol development.
