We are looking for an experienced Systems Maintenance Mechanic to perform troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, maintaining automated conveyor systems, lubrication, and preventive/predictive maintenance. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at our Charlotte facility. This is an hourly position, commensurate with experience. Job Description:
- Primarily perform mechanical tasks on automated conveyor equipment
- Utilize working knowledge and experience to troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, maintaining automated conveyor systems, preventive/predictive maintenance
- Perform all duties safely and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
- Ensure and participate in preventative maintenance tasks on a routine basis
- Basic use of hand tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring equipment
- Maintain clean and orderly work area
- Limited day or overnight travel to company satellite branches in NC as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements: - Education: High School degree or an approved GED required; Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred
- Must have a valid NC Drivers License and a satisfactory driving record
- Must have a good working knowledge to include, but not limited to, the troubleshooting and repair of material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, maintaining automated conveyor systems, lubrication, and preventive/predictive maintenance
- Must have working knowledge of the following topics: using hand/power tools, precision alignment, electrical troubleshooting
- Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs as necessary
- Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of walking, standing and working in non-climate controlled environment
- Must be able to work assigned work schedule
