We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, developing, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes. Engineer is to provide technical leadership to shop operations and maintenance to improve departmental performance. - Troubleshoot and correct production problems.
- Analyze scrap and defect reports to focus areas of improvement.
- Improve workflow and efficiency.
- Design new and revise existing production fixtures.
- Support manufacturing by introducing new products and repairing and maintaining existing parts.
- Create and maintain process instructions and train employees with changes to instructions. Design new test equipment. Define, specify, quote, order, approve, implement, and debug new production equipment. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
What you need:
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion with business information.
- Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane, algebra, solid geometry, and trigonometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formats. Ability to plan the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work; may also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.
- Ability to frequently make decisions of both minor and major importance, which may affect the work operations of other employees and/or clientele to a moderate degree.
- Ability to complete tasks using structured practices or policies and directed as to execution and review. Interpolation of learned things in moderately varied situations where reasoning and decision-making are essential.
- Regular use of complex machines and equipment; specialized or advanced software programs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (required)
- Minimum three years pump assembly or relevant experience (required)
- Programming and developing tooling for CNC lathe equipment (preferred)

SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED
- Intermediate: CAD, Excel
- Basic: Word processing, Database
