- Be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
- Adhere to sanitation and food safety guidelines as per ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Work in collaboration with food vendors, coworkers and the clients served over the telephone and email.
- Prepare a light breakfast for clients, set up the prepared and delivered meals for lunch, and on occasion, prepare light refreshments for celebrations with the clients.
- Be responsible for keeping the kitchen clean on a daily basis and maintaining a regular cleaning schedule for deep cleaning.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dietary/Kitchen experience working with disabled and elderly adult population.
- ServSafe Certification (Within 6 months of hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
