DescriptionLocation: Nippenose Valley, PA, close to South Williamsport and Jersey ShoreShifts available: First and second shiftsMain duties: Prepare meals for residents in a timely manner. Assist the head chef in kitchen and dining operations. Follow recipes for meal preparation diligently. Employment type: Full-timeWeekly hours: Between 30 to 37.5 hoursResponsibilities•Prepare three meals daily, which include entrees, vegetables, and desserts, aligned with the weekly menu for the residents•Ensure timely preparation and distribution of meals•Create daily snacks and maintain the availability of diabetic snacks in a designated area•Responsible for preparing various drinks like coffee, tea, juices, and fruit drinks, and keeping hydration stations stocked throughout the home•Monitor and regulate proper food cooking temperatures diligently•Work efficiently and in a timely manner•Assist the lead cook with managing food inventory and related supplies such as flatware, dishes, and glasses•Maintain refrigerator and freezer thermometers, ensuring clear visibility and accurate temperature documentation•Promptly report any equipment repairs needed to maintenance•Adhere to OSHA standards, maintain a safe work environment, and report any unsafe conditions to HR promptly•Communicate courteously and professionally with staff, residents, and visitors•Uphold confidentiality of residents' PHI and related information per company privacy practices and HIPAAQualifications•Must possess a High School diploma or G.E.D. and hold a ServeSafe certification•Should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a restaurant or similar environment•Ability to read and execute directions and recipes effectively•Must demonstrate motivation and attention to detail•Willingness to work on a rotating on-call schedule, including holidays, evenings, or weekends
