*Job Description*:As an LPN at Haven Manor Health Care Center, you will provide direct patient care in a long-term care (LTC) setting. You will work with a dynamic team to support elderly residents in a compassionate, safe, and supportive environment.*Responsibilities*:* Provide basic nursing care to patients in accordance with established care plans.* Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.* Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and observe reactions or side effects.* Assist with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and mobility.* Maintain accurate patient records and communicate any changes in patient condition to the nursing team.* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal care.* Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.*Requirements*:* Active New York State LPN License.* Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care or nursing home settings preferred.* Strong understanding of nursing principles, procedures, and patient care techniques.* Ability to work effectively within a team and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.* Ability to work evening shifts and weekends as required.*Additional Notes*:* Position requires 100% onsite availability (no remote work).* Ideal candidate must be flexible and adaptable to different patient needs and work schedules.Job Type: ContractPay: $1,520.00 - $1,800.00 per weekLicense/Certification:* LVN (Required)* BLS Certification (Required)* LPN (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Far Rockaway, NY 11691: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: On the road
