Job DescriptionWill be responsible for guiding clients through the application process, ensuring compliance and collaborating with our team of CPAs based in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail and experience in tax incentives or related fields.Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and explain the benefits and requirements of Act 60.
- Collect all necessary documents and relevant information to begin the application process.
- Prepare and submit Act 60 applications on behalf of clients.
- Coordinate with government agencies to facilitate the application process.
- Monitor the status to ensure timely approvals.
- Track and monitor client compliance with Act 60 requirements.
- Address any potential compliance issues proactively.
- File all necessary documents to maintain ongoing compliance.
- Work closely with our CPA team to ensure accurate handling of tax and accounting matters.
- Review financial statements for compliance with Act 60 regulations.
- Confirm alignment between client accounts and Act 60 compliance standards.
- Provide regular updates to clients on their application and compliance status.
- Address client questions and concerns promptly.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Law 60 and other tax incentives.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Act 60 regulations and Puerto Rico tax laws.
