- Completes pre-foreclosure reviews to ensure loans are referred for foreclosure based on company requirements.
- Completes, monitors progress, and ensures deadlines are met for invoice approval, foreclosure referrals, foreclosure bidding instructions and other tasks.
- Completes, monitors progress, and ensures deadlines are met for property preservation, order values, and inspections. Calculates and prepares reinstatement, payoff figures, and other debt information to attorneys.
- Manages a pipeline of foreclosure loans to ensure timely processing and adherence to investor, insurer, and client requirements.
- Provides adequate and accurate information to assigned foreclosure counsel.
- Prepares bidding instructions for utilization at foreclosure sale.
- Manages daily exception report to confirm adequate oversight of assigned pipeline.
- Completes follow-ups with foreclosure counsel to obtain all foreclosure documentation as required.
- Makes and answers calls from attorney firms and vendors.
- Works with network of attorneys and management team to develop strategic resolution plans for aging actions within foreclosure process.
- Maintains working knowledge of in-depth foreclosure requirements of investors, insurers, and clients to ensure premier performance.
- Manages attorneys to ensure Foreclosure process is consistently progressing.
- Ensures accounts are properly documented with accurate and comprehensive status updates.
- Follows established company guidelines, department policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with all investor requirements.
- Identify opportunities to shorten timelines, drive performance and minimize loss.
- Assists management team in development of talent through mentoring of junior staff members.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned by Management.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree preferred.
- 5+ years direct foreclosure or mortgage servicing related experience preferred.
- Previous experience in law office or mortgage servicing company required.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
- Good computer and internet skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and be able to work with general supervision applying established procedures and specific standards.
- Proficiency of Black Knight/LPS required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office- Outlook and Excel required.
- SQL/Tableau experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task in an environment of changing priorities by maintaining a daily worklist in addition to other assignments.
