Job Location : Savannah,GA, USA
As an administrative assistant for the student success and advising department, you will receive all incoming calls and determine the most appropriate staff member to address the caller's needs. You will manage the departmental email account and process supply requests via the building's designated supply person to ensure that adequate supplies of all departmental publications are available in the office. You will assist with data entry, generate COGNOS reports, and help advisers create orientation packets for incoming students each quarter. In this role, you are responsible for assisting advisers with event preparation, which includes departmental and student meetings/advisement and reserving event locations. You will also help with appointment scheduling and providing referrals to internal departments such as the office of the registrar, student involvement, or counseling and student support services.

The candidate should be capable of collaborating with multiple departments and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must exhibit exceptional customer service, communication, and organizational skills. They should also display a commitment to honesty, integrity, and discipline.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* At least one year of related experience
* Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite software
Preferred Qualifications:
* Successful work experience in an educational environment
* Experience with Banner software
Work Hours:?The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
