Details: The Quality Technician II ensures the overall quality and compliance of products or services within the company. This role is more advanced than a Quality Technician I, requiring enhanced expertise and experience in quality control and assurance. The position is for the Pitman Night shift, a rotating 12-hour shift from 6 PM to 6 AM. Job Requirements Details: Key Responsibilities
- Inspect output samples using appropriate industry methods.
- Ensure the assembly or production line adheres to standards, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Review blueprints and specifications to compare to produced goods.
- Document inspection results, including re-works, waste, and data input into the quality database.
- Train production staff on quality control measures to improve product quality.
- Propose improvements to the production process.
- Monitor equipment use to ensure safety and discard non-compliant equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and radiographs.
- Perform testing at various stages of the manufacturing process.
- Collect and compile statistical quality data.
- Assist in developing test methods and inspection plans.
- Identify root causes of product defects and scrap.
- Verify correct calibration of all equipment.
- Perform quality controls on raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products following Work Instructions (WI).
- Suggest improvements to WI to reduce scrap and enhance product performance.
- Support the production staff on WI, quality, and process issues in coordination with management.
- Generate statistical analysis and reports on the quality of raw materials and finished products as needed.
- Maintain and use measurement instruments according to WI and safety standards.
- Suggest improvements to production recipes for various process stages.
- Monitor and audit operations and recommend improvements to quality control tools on the production line.
- Provide hourly reports to management via email.
QualificationsSkills:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while knowing when to seek help.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and statistical software.
- Strong understanding of problem-solving techniques.

Education and Experience:
- Manufacturing experience in a technical role.
