Educator: $16-19 per hour (based on education and experience)

Locations: candidates should be open to any of the schools we partner with in the Western Springs School District. School placement is based on business need. We cannot accommodate preferred school locations.

Hours: Monday through Friday: 11:30AM-1PM and 3:15PM-6PM*

*we are looking for candidates who are available for all five days, ideally for both shifts. ;

Please note: This position is for the duration of the 2024-2025 school year and follows the district's calendar.

You'll drive the mission by:

Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observationDeliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful wayUsing your coursework training and our in-person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at playExcellent communication skills with varied audience including children, parents, staff and school personnelModel positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well-being and attention of all childrenMeets regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability

Ideal Candidates will have the following:

• Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
• Works well in a team environment
• 18 years old or older
• A Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 40lbs
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements; CPR, Mandated Reporter training, TB test, etc.
