General SummaryFull time, 2nd shift (4pm-12am) and the rate of pay is $18.45 per hour Differential appliedMust be able to operate TSP turret Trucks, standup electric RC forklifts, electric pallet jack , and reach truck.Material Handler is responsible for the safe, accurate loading and unloading of product within the distribution center. Uses ERP systems requiring location and storage of items, proper packaging, and methods of movement of materials.May prepare goods for final shipment. May prepare, coordinate, and execute documentation for final shipment for domestic and international. Will handle material either inbound or outbound based on business needs. The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the work performed by the incumbent(s) in this position and are not all-inclusive. The omission of a specific duty or responsibility will not preclude it from the position.Job Requirements High School diploma, GED or 3 years of relevant experience required. Experience with MHE. Including but not limited to Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker. Forklift Certification required. Good verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment. Ability to read and interpret distribution documents. Ability to work well with others. Ability to work under minimal supervision. May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner. Ability to perform/operate in a metrics-driven environment. Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills. General distribution knowledge. The position will almost always have exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment.
