Job Description :

Goodwill Industries is hiring a Donation Center Attendant Trainer for their Cleveland territory.

We are looking for someone who acts with honesty and integrity, embraces diversity, and puts people first - like we do!

The ADC Trainer is responsible for training team members at attended donation sites, as needed. You are accountable for the overall image, customer service, stewardship of donations, and integrity of donor counts.

Essential Functions:

* Ensures a work environment for a prompt, friendly and courteous donor experience.

* Opens and closes an ADC as required including reporting a donor attendant's absence, assign duties as applicable, and complete control of operation functions as assigned.

* Greets donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner within 10 seconds; unloads donations from vehicles, offers tax receipts, asks for the zip code for the tracking of the donors, and maintains accurate daily counts of donations.

* Breaks down donations into categories.

* Assist the Transportation and ADC manager in the sustainable projects (Cleveland Rocks/Rags) as needed.

* Performs regular inspections and site visits to ADCs covering shifts, loss prevention review, training, schedule review, image including proper attendant attire, supplies and equipment, and proper donor greeting procedure.

* Responsible for maintaining drive-through and trailer sites in accordance with image standards.

* Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies in an efficient manner. Responsible to secure and appropriately use those supplies.

* Communicates with leadership on opportunities found at each ADC and supports ADC peers on specific duties as needed or requested.

* Adheres to all Goodwill personnel policies and procedures; follows good safety and security practices, including reporting safety hazards and injuries.

* Assists supervisor with safety practices and incident/accident reporting.

* Trains and coaches' performance of ADC team members.

* Assists supervisor with OJT checklist completion, orientation checklist, site inspections, various reports, work requests, and performance management and recognition feedback

* May be asked to participate in activities outside of Goodwill.

* Attends in-service and related training as assigned by ADC manager.

* Deliver and pick up the ADC trailers to/from homes or businesses without the assistant manager.

* Other duties as assigned by ADC manager.

Basic Requirements:

* Must have a valid drivers license and auto insurance

* Required to wear a uniform, which includes an identification tag

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical requirements of the position including but not limited to frequent standing, sitting, walking, stair climbing, reaching, stooping/bending, handling/fingering; frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Work outside in winter conditions and sit in a heated office in a trailer.
