Agri-Mark is seeking a HR Administrative Assistant at our Middlebury, VT location. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: This role is critical to the daily operations of the HR team, ensuring smooth communication, data management and efficiency. The HR Admin will assist in recruiting, onboarding, employee record maintenance, and support other HR-related tasks.

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including assisting employees, scheduling meetings, etc.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and coordinating background checks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files, records and documentation in compliance with legal and Company policies.
  • Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and supporting payroll processing as needed.
  • Assist in preparing reports related to various HR metrics such as employee turnover, leave of absence, etc.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees with HR-related questions, directing them to appropriate resources as needed.
  • Support the HR team with special projects, training sessions and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  • Computer skills - Proficient in computer navigation and Microsoft options (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with HRIS systems and software is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs.
  • High school diploma or GED required. Higher education in HR, Business Administration preferred.
The candidate who fills this position will be one who is able to represent the ethics and integrity necessary for a member of the HR team.Preference given to candidates with HR experience.
