Responsibilities:
- Completes orientation and trainings including mandatory on-line implementation training prior to delivering evidence-based programming.
- Deliver training for specific evidence-based programming defined by model developer.
- Deliver evidence based program with fidelity to youth and parents in a variety of settings.
- Conduct community outreach and education.
- Complete required reporting and documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provide assistance and/or referrals for youth to obtain comprehensive family planning services, health services or other essential support services as identified.
- Facilitate selected evidence-based curriculum with fidelity to youth between the ages of 11-21 in a group setting, that encourages abstinence or risk averse sexual behavior in order to reduce rates of STI/STD infection and pregnancy in the adolescent population.
- Complete mandatory training in delivery and implementation of evidence-based curriculum provided by technical assistance and training organization ACT4Youth prior to facilitating selected curriculum.
- Complete and participate in additional trainings created by ACT4Youth, NYF, and/or other community organizations/agencies/companies as assigned in order to develop and strengthen teaching dynamics and skill set in the classroom.
- Collect data as assigned such as demographical information, pre/post surveys and attendance of participants in all interventions and services provided.
- Report and accurately enter all data collected into the appropriate online databases provided by ACT4Youth (ORS) and NYF (Evolv).
- Serve as an educational resource for participants, their caregivers and the community to access comprehensive sexual health/family planning services, medical services or other supportive services.
- Promote sexual health and wellness by delivering workshops, lectures and participating in community events such as health fairs, open houses and awareness initiatives.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of human sexuality, sexual behaviors, adolescent development, gender identity, and contraceptive use in a safe, supportive and confidential environment.

Qualifications:
- Ability to facilitate discussion/teach classes to youth in a variety of setting on reproductive health topics such as reproductive a Anatomy, contraceptive methods, STDs and HIV/AIDS.
- Experience working with youth and demonstrated ability to be inclusive and non-stigmatizing in their role.
- Knowledge of or experience working with youth in child welfare programs.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and/or weekends.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to safety.
Education Required: Bachelors Degree from a U.S. accredited educational institution or Credential Evaluation for a non-U.S. educational institution
