**Job Title:** Physician**Job Specialty:** Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery**Job Duration:** Locum Tenens with 24-hour on-call duty from December 20, 5 PM to December 30, 7 AM**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 9 AM to 5 PM (40 Hours per Week)**Guaranteed Hours:** **Experience:** Minimum years unspecified**License:** Board Certification Required**Certifications:** - Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS)- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)- Basic Life Support (BLS)- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)**Must-Have:** - Board Certification in Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery- Fellowship Experience in the specified specialty**Job Description:**- Manage patient encounters per shift, which may vary- Practice in a facility with Trauma Level 3 and Pediatric Level 2 designations- Collaborate within a department with 6 beds- Specialty skills required include: - General CV/thoracic surgery - Open and endoscopic procedures - Coronary artery bypass surgery, both on and off-pump - Repair of congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc.) - Valvular repair and replacement - Aneurysm repair (cardiac and aorto-thoracic) - Lung resection, including VATs - Chest wall or pleural procedures - Esophagus and diaphragm surgeries - Permanent pacemaker placement and AICD installation - Left ventricular assist devices and TAVR - CABG and vent management - Bronchoscopy and evaluation/management of acute volume/BP issues - Insertion of central line, arterial line, PA catheter, and IABP- Vascular skills required: - General and endovascular vascular surgery - Aneurysm repair - aorto-abdominal - Bypass procedures - aorto-femoral/iliac, fem-pop - Endarterectomy, carotid, renal, and subclavian steal procedures - TAVR, CABG, vent management, bronchoscopy - Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues - Insertion of central line, arterial line, PA catheter, and IABP- Ensure credentialing within an estimated timeframe of 25 days
