POSITION SUMMARY:
Leads Quality activities and provides the Quality support to operations within the Business Units (BU). Manages a team of Sr QA Specialist(s), QA Specialist(s) and QA Batch Auditors.
Provides technical expertise and support to ensure compliance to Nestle & regulatory requirements, product quality, and food safety. Utilizes tools such as trend analysis to achieve continuous improvement at BU level and ultimately contribute to achievement of factory and business objectives.

Food Safety and Quality full compliance:
- Ensure local compliance to Quality and Food Safety systems, to Nestle requirements and appropriate support and coaching to Operations.
- Responsible for the compliance to site quality systems within the BU, support Documentation Control and Management of Change locally, drives simplification initiatives. Owns local quality documentation and support updates to procedures, work instructions and tools for the BU.
- Ensure that deviations are thoroughly investigated through root cause analysis and that preventative actions are taken to prevent recurrence. Ensure related Incident Reports are complete and issued on time.
- Provide timely and appropriate recommendations for the disposition of finished product ensuring full safety, compliance as well as consumer preference and trust.
- Maintain full compliance of products with regulatory and with Nestle requirements.
People and know-how:
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Employee must support and comply with all Nestle programs and policies, including affirmative action goals and commitments, SHE strategies, corporate citizenship initiatives, GMP's and Safety Policies to ensure employee safety and product quality. Employee must meet all requirements related to NQMS and ISO standards for Quality, Food Safety, Environmental Compliance and Occupational Health and Safety.
EXPERIENCE:
Academic Experience
A bachelor's degree in food science, Biology, Chemistry or related field is required or minimum 5 years equivalent work experience.
Operational Experience
8 to 10 years of Quality experience
Experience in regulated food manufacturing environment with exposure to 21 CFR 110, 21 CFR 113, lean manufacturing philosophy, and FSSC 22000/SQF regulations.
Demonstrated capability to lead a group, e.g.
Supervisor position in a factory, Deputy QA, Quality Systems, Hygienist; or a career path demonstrating continuous progression.
Business Experience
Different factory positions in Quality
Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
Other Skills
Superior verbal and written communication, leadership and planning skills are required.
Able to understand and to clarify complex problems.
