ABOUT BRASA CAPITAL MANAGEMENT

Brasa Capital Management (Brasa) is a West Coast focused real estate private equity firm pursuing opportunistic debt and equity transactions. Brasa manages discretionary investment funds and separate account vehicles on behalf of its diverse base of institutional and private capital partners.

Brasa is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join its corporate office. The Assistant will work directly with the executive team to help support and execute all operations of the fund under their direction. It is essential that this ideal candidate be detail-oriented, highly organized, trustworthy, honest, and energetic. The Administrative Assistant should have a flexible schedule, strong work ethic and be able to maintain confidential information. In addition, this person must have a strong business judgment, be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of people.

You must present extreme professionalism, easily adapt to change in a fast-paced environment, have previous support experience and represent the company as an ambassador for its values and mission. Office etiquette and strong interpersonal skills are a must. You will be working with a strong team who create a friendly and inclusive yet highly productive environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

General (25%)

Scheduling & Travel

  • Arrange some travel and provide thorough itineraries, including flights, car pick-ups, hotel bookings, dinner reservations, directions, and any other relevant details for corporate trips as needed.
  • Plans, schedules, organizes, and may facilitate various meetings; including agenda preparation, meeting attendance (as required), and documentation and distribution of meeting minutes, etc.

Office Related (75%)

  • Responsible for the general functionality of the office; provide office-wide scheduling assistance and ensure the cleanliness and organization of shared spaces
  • Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements
  • Plan and execute office events including holiday dinners, swag, and annual meetings
  • Be the point person and manage the organizers of the annual company meeting, including travel arrangements, meeting rooms, dining options, activities, coordinating with all attendees, and some onsite execution
  • Keep office stocked with supplies and food/beverage essentials
  • Provide ad hoc support on client teams as needed and on a daily basis

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A strong candidate has experience working at the executive level with a stable work history
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to enthusiastically complete both high-level and low-level tasks
  • Ability to communicate progress on multiple projects
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with outstanding time and project management skills and the ability to multi-task. Ability to follow-up is critical

  • Integrity and hard work ethic with a desire to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Extreme proficiency in Microsoft Office
