- Assessment certification in TABE 11/12 and CLAS E (training is available after hiring)
- Experience administering TABE & CLAS E
- Bi-lingual candidates preferred
- Must be available during the day and evening
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be proficient in using student information systems and possess a high level of technology skills
- Experience with both ESL and HSE students preferred
Fair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-Exempt Reports to: Coordinator of AEL Job Goal: To conduct standardized testing for all adult education class sites and meet all DESE requirements for reporting AEL data. Performance Responsibilities for AEL Test Proctor:
- Conduct AEL student orientation
- Conduct TABE & CASAS testing, intake and orientation
- Complete student goal sheets and folders
- Conduct post testing at all sites
- Complete LACES data entry weekly and send report to the AEL Coordinator
- Maintain spreadsheets for outside agency grant reporting requirements
- Responsible for all student sign in sheets
- Responsible for the entry of all student hours
- Provide updates LACES reports to AEL teachers
- Assist with graduation ceremonies and ESL celebrations of success
- Produce and retain early post testing documentation
Terms of Employment: AEL Test Proctor and Enrollment Specialist $25 per hour for no more than 700 hours annually Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the immediate supervisor, using the Independence School District Performance Based Evaluation.
