Electronic Environments offers a fast paced, fun environment where we deliver projects for customized home automation solutions including distributed entertainment systems, lighting controls, motorized shading, HVAC systems, access controls and IT infrastructure.
We are currently looking for a Shipping Associate to work in our New York City office.
Responsibilities for this position include:
+ Receive product deliveries, verify correct items and quantities were received, and inspect for any damage during transit
+ Process inventory requests and prepare equipment for delivery to site as needed
+ Coordinate deliveries with Project Managers to ensure product gets to site when needed
+ Accurately label all inventory in warehouse with required information
+ Update inventory software for items received, returned, and sent out to job sites
+ Coordinate returns of damaged equipment to ensure proper credit for replacement product
+ Ensure stock items and office/pantry supplies are replenished as needed
+ Assist in quarterly inventory counts
+ Keep warehouse and shipping area clean and organized
+ Empty waste receptacles throughout office daily
Requirements of the Shipping Associate:
+ Must be able to lift 50lbs
+ Valid driver's license required
+ 5 days a week on site required
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Highly organized and efficient
