Social Media CoordinatorPosition OverviewOur museum client is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategy, ensuringalignment with marketing goals and enhancing online presence.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across various platforms
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written)
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster community relationships
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency and maximize reach
- Stay up-to-date with current trends in social media and marketing
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in creating original content, includingphotography, videography, and graphic design for social media platforms
- Proficiency in Sprout Social and other social media management tools
- Excellent writing skills with an ability to create engaging, on-brand content
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools including Hootsuite, Later, and Sprout Social
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with video editing software is a plus
- Experience in copywriting and knowledge of nonprofit sector is a bonus
- A passion for museums and cultural institutions is desirable
