Rockaway Care Center - Full Job Description
Rockaway Care Center is looking to hire RN Unit Managers for the day shift (7:00am-3:00pm). This unit manager will be responsibe for one of the five floors in our nursing facility.
WE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING.
Registered Nurse (RN):
- Perform required skills (assessment, intervention) according to guidelines, forms, policies and procedures
- Develop care plan that demonstrates knowledge of criteria to ascertain residents specific needs based on health care problem(s)
- Carry out care plan that demonstrates familiarity with criteria to establish resident priorities specific to anticipated outcomes
- Implement physicians' orders; administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures and special tests and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations
- Complete new admissions and assessments.
- Interact with families, doctors and other professionals
*Qualifications of a Registered Nurse (RN)*: *
- Current New York State RN license
- Minimum Associates Degree
- Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Salary Range: $100,000/annually-$105,000/annually depending of experience
