Job Summary

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of physical security operations, ensuring outstanding service delivery, client satisfaction, and effective team leadership. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, exceptional business insight, and deep industry knowledge.

Core Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations of the security division, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures to optimize performance.
  • Track operational performance and quickly address any issues.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review service performance and resolve concerns.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to expand services and grow client accounts.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of security professionals, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development programs to ensure a high-performing workforce.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage budgets, striving to meet or exceed financial targets.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and identify financial efficiencies.

Sales and Business Development

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Take part in sales presentations and client negotiations.
  • Contribute to developing sales strategies aimed at increasing client base and revenue.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging security threats.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Security Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the security industry, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success in operational management and client relationship development.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and financial oversight.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • Strategic problem-solving skills and a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in security management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
