Coordinator, Logistics

As E-commerce Coordinator, Logistics, you will be responsible for coordinating the route movement of outgoing and incoming omnichannel shipments and the reporting of it. You will advise internally and externally on methods of shipment, payment methods, invoicing and shipping documents needed. You will be responsible for troubleshooting problems with delivery or damaged goods during the shipping process liaising with the 3PL. Staying on top of all accounts and coordinating with other departments are essential qualities to possess in this position.
Overview of Critical Duties
• Manage the end-to-end dispatch and fulfillment of E-Commerce orders including picking and packing process
• Provide exceptional customer service including troubleshooting web problems, resolving customer concerns and support internal digital team.
• Focus on customer returns providing support with shipping, in case of any delays or courier service errors, lodging investigations with courier services in case of loss, ensuring returns terms and conditions are observed.
• Proactively identify operational problems, suggest solutions, and independently resolve issues.
• Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements and demand.
• Record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
• Communication with external warehouse (3PL) ensuring the orders are received, items allocated, troubleshooting if warehouse integration errors occur, issuing and updating order confirmations for all channels (E-commerce, Retail, Wholesale).
• Provide additional support with internal/external logistics inquiries for all channels (E-commerce, Retail, Wholesale).
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management understanding the logic behind it.
• Assist with inventory management.
Background/Experience
• College Degree Required – BSc/BA in business administration/ supply chain management or relevant field.
• 1-2 years of proven experience as a logistics coordinator – preferred if in e-commerce
• Expert in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Data manipulation.
• Results driven, strategic and conceptual thinker.
• Excellent organizational and multi-talking skills adhering to deadlines and ensuring accuracy
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Team player
• Preferred: Knowledge of SAP system
• Preferred: Knowledge of Ticketing systems
The appointed candidate will be offered an hourly rate within the range of USD $25-$28 per hour based on experience, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and retirement plans with employer contributions.
