We are currently looking for a Commercial Content Writer to join us based ideally in a hybrid role in Tennessee. With a combination of work from home and out of our offices in downtown Nashville. Remote work will be considered in certain situations and depends on the current state of candidate residence. This full-time role will report into the Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager, North America.

What You'll Do as a Commercial Content Writer

You will be at the center of the day-to-day content of the commercial team, creating, uploading, and optimizing commercial content across our website and global partners, while also providing new ideas for content and revenue growth. You will be enjoy with writing articles, researching new topics, identifying SEO and keyword opportunities and uncovering new ways to produce highly-impactful content that aligns with driving our strategic business goals. and doing SEO keyword research, you will need to be a versatile individual who can manage their workload as necessary.

This role is ideal for anyone who has a strong passion and clear understanding of online sportsbooks and casinos. As well as a detailed knowledge of various content mediums and the regulatory intricacies across various state- and province-based markets of the US and Canada.

*Note to Applicants – This role will not be writing sports betting picks or other prediction based content*

Key responsibilities

• Writing and editing commercial content across oddschecker and partner sites with help from SEO team.
• Optimizing content across our platforms for commercial offers and audience engagement. new sportsbook offers and marketing material across the oddschecker website, app and partner sites globally.
• Monitoring iGaming legislation news and upcoming events to monetize oddschecker and its partners content and reach.
• Work nimbly across different teams to problem-solve and innovate new opportunities.
• Utilize partner systems to commercial conversion to inform content strategy and report back to stake holders.
• Collaborate with wider marketing, content, PR, and commercial teams with ideas to improve traffic and conversion on all content on Oddschecker & partner sites.
• Provide data-driven insights and results to help improve audience engagement, size and a more personalized experience.

Qualifications

• A clear and concise communicator, especially when it comes to your writing skills
• 1-3 years of experience in the iGaming/sports betting industry
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks across different strategies
• Experience with content management software and publishing tools
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make quick decisions based of the data you have
• Desire to work in a start-up environment
• Willingness to work a flexible work week that may not adhere to your typical 9-5 job
• Previous experience with SEO and content optimization is a plus
• Interest in the business of sports betting, iGaming and the intersection of those industries and their growth in North America.
