Responsibilities:
- Partner with cannabis clients nationwide to assess and optimize financial strategies, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Analyze financial statements, performance metrics, and market trends to provide actionable insights.
- Develop financial models to support decision-making processes for clients in cultivation, processing, retail, and other cannabis verticals.
- Assist clients in navigating complex financial regulations and compliance requirements in the cannabis industry.
- Provide strategic financial planning advice, including capital allocation, investment analysis, and risk management.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their financial goals and challenges, tailoring solutions to their unique needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cannabis Finance Consultant, preferably with experience in the cannabis industry.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the cannabis sector.
- Expertise in fundraising and mergers and acquisitions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site consultations.
