We pride ourselves on being able to work safely and efficiently to feed the great state of Texas.Come join the team to make product to feed your family, friends, and community.Summary:The Packer position is responsible for preparing and packing finished product for loading.Primary Duties:This is an hourly position that involves the packing of 50 pound bags of finished product. Good paperwork and documentation skills are a must in this position.Position requires communication with Shift Miller and Loader to determine types of products being made off the Mill and what is in each finished product bin.Position will be required to fill in on loading when needed.Filling out necessary paperwork to complete loads (trailer inspection, tailings checks, product retain samples, and COA's).Must keep current on the MSS that's required for their area.Will have to conduct Forklift training.Must observe and utilize Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as set forth by Miller Milling Company in accordance with BRC standards.Responsibility to food safety regulations.Other Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentStrong problem solving abilitiesMust be able to use, or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this jobBasic computer skillsDetail orientedProven written and verbal communication skillsPosition requires the ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
