The Material Handler is responsible for handling and processing all types of material received into the warehouse. They are responsible for ensuring that materials are maintained in their proper location and are available for use when needed, while accurately processing paperwork to ensure inventory accuracy. Responsibilities
  • Safely load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, shelves, and bins using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually.
  • Kit work orders for assembly/ production
  • Transport materials within the facility to ensure they reach the necessary production areas or shipping locations in a timely manner.
  • Keep accurate records of material counts, enter data into inventory management systems, and perform cycle counts or physical inventory checks.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, ensuring all materials received match the purchase orders and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by properly labeling and storing materials in designated areas, optimizing space utilization.
  • Operate material-handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe and efficient manner following company protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipping or production according to work orders or requisitions.
  • Follow all company safety protocols, report hazards, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety standards.
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel, production teams, and management to meet daily objectives and resolve any issues related to material handling.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience as a material handler, warehouse worker, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification may be required).
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects (typically 50 pounds or more).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is typically performed in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
  • Requires physical effort, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • May involve exposure to loud noises, machinery, and varying temperatures depending on the environment.
