Description: The Plant Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining facility procedures and processes, and directing the activities in the operations and maintenance/ reliability departments in a cost-effective manner. The Plant Manager will also be responsible for managing shutdowns and capital projects.To fulfill these responsibilities, the Plant Manager is empowered to manage work priority, engage the proper resources to develop and implement equipment, process, and administrative standards, identify training opportunities throughout the plant, and recommend asset selection criteria and installation standards. The Plant Manager will monitor department performance relative to safety, environment, reliability, quality, efficiency, and cost control to continually improve performance.HSE&S RESPONSIBILITIES

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- 5 years managing employees in a union facility
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
- Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
- Experience working with corrosive materials
- Experience working in a PSM and RMP facility
- Experience in applying industry RAGAGEPs - Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (API, NACE, ISA, ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, etc.)
- Experience developing training program for Operators, Maintenance, and Engineers as it relates to process safety and equipment reliability
- Experience in HAZOPs and LOPA (Layer of protection analysis)
- Experience in Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA and RCMS
