The Logistics Coordinator will oversee the timely and efficient movement of goods and materials through the supply chain. This position requires excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure smooth operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Oversee the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with customer specifications.
Develop and implement efficient routing plans to minimize transportation costs while ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with regulations.
Monitor and track inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment of materials. Liaise with the warehouse team to facilitate stock movement and ensure proper documentation.
Communicate and negotiate with third-party vendors, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure competitive pricing, timely deliveries, and service level agreements are met.
Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and import/export documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to coordinate order fulfillment, monitor delivery status, and resolve any issues related to shipping or delays.
Monitor shipment progress and provide real-time updates to stakeholders, including management and customers. Generate regular reports on transportation costs, delivery times, and service performance.
Identify and address any logistics-related issues, including delays, damages, or discrepancies, and work with the relevant teams to find solutions and prevent recurrence.
Prepare purchase orders in accordance with requested purchases from warehouse and/or buyers.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing the efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness of logistics operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
At least 2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management. Experience with freight forwarding, warehousing, or inventory management is a plus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
Knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.

Compensation details: 60000-65000 Yearly Salary
