Get inspired because no one's having more fun than us. Position Summary The key responsibilities of the Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator are 1. Ensure the accuracy between physical inventory and ERP inventory movements, 2. Coordinate with vendors and internal team members on inbound and outbound, domestic and international logistics, 3. Lead and conduct inventory stock takes cycle counts at Embed and Third-Party Logistics locations, and 4. Lead by example and adhere to prescribed departmental procedures to ensure customers receive support in a consistent and similar manner. In addition, the Supply Chain and Logistics Coordinator will demonstrate an incessant desire to ensure accuracy of inventory and inventory moments and a continuous improvement mindset and an openness to new approaches and solutions to enhance the supply chain and logistics process. Key Responsibilities Individual:
- Ensure the accuracy between physical inventory and ERP inventory movements
- Ensure the day-to-day ERP transactions are input, uploaded (csv files), and maintained accurately
- Review historical trends, identify drivers, and evaluate operational performance/KPIs to improve inventory accuracy
- Generate reports and analyze data in Microsoft Excel to make data-driven decisions
- Coordinate with vendors and internal team members on inbound and outbound, domestic and international logistics
- Provide clerical support on inbound and outbound, domestic and international logistics
- Maintain logs and records of required documentation
- Coordinate inventory management, warehousing, and fulfillment activities to optimize inventory levels
- Lead a variety of logistical functions, including sourcing, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Coordinate reverse logistics with vendors, external customers, and internal team members
- Escalate complex incidents proactively and in a timely manner
- Triage inbound internal and external customer requests, prioritize tickets in the queue, and solve tickets accordingly
- Investigate and troubleshoot incidents raised by customers; provide timely and consistent responses via telephone, email, and any future channel
- Communicate proactively with customers using clear, professional, and effective communication
Vendor Management:
- Lead and conduct inventory stock takes cycle counts at Embed and Third-Party Logistics locations
- Lead activities to ensure Third-Party Logistics partner performs per the specified SLAs
- Invoice auditing: review vendor invoice charges, highlight discrepancies, and confirm accuracy of charges
- Coordinate and lead transportation activities with vendors and internal team members
Leadership:
- Depending upon the region, available and on-call to solve customer escalations if required
- Lead by example and adhere to prescribed departmental procedures to ensure customers receive support in a consistent and similar manner
- Work with customers, team members, and other departments to not only solve problems but also, provide alternative ideas to deliver timely, consistent, and sound solutions
- Continuous improvement mindset and an openness to new approaches and solutions to enhance the supply chain and logistics process
- Explore opportunities and implement improvements to enhance and transform processes and practices
KPIs:
- Achieve individual KPIs and help team members achieve group KPIs (we are one team)
Required Skills and Expertise Description of Expert: Demonstrates a depth of professional experience/knowledge to handle broad business/organizational issues; tackles specialist problems from a strategic perspective to pre-empt long-term issues; develops policies. Description of Practitioner: Demonstrates a deeper understanding of the professional area to handle non-standard situations; adapting according to the circumstances, showing a proactive and considered approach in this specialist area; develops processes.
- 4-6 years' experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or equivalent education or work experience
- Practitioner ability in prioritising and balancing time among multiple activities
- Practitioner level in troubleshooting, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Highly organized and a meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrate good judgement using facts and analytics
- Expert level in communicating both written (grammar and punctuation) and verbal
- Natural desire to help people
- Practitioner level in building strong relationships with customers and with team members
- Practitioner level in handling customers with patience, tact, and empathy
- Practitioner level in internal and external conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Intermediate level with Microsoft Excel, i.e., pivot tables, equations, etc.
- Intermediate level with Oracle NetSuite is preferred or equivalent ERP work experience
- Incessant desire to ensure accuracy of inventory and inventory moments
Special Requirements
- Some morning and evening calls are expected to coordinate activities with others in different time zones
- Depending upon the region, onsite Third-Party Logistics visits are required
- While performing the Key Responsibilities, ability to:
- Stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time
- Bend, squat, kneel, and lift heavy objects greater than 50 lbs (23 kg) if required
- Work on ladders (if required)
