Alternative Hours: 4PM-12A Days: Monday-Friday
Position Overview: As a Transportation Supervisor, you will supervise the agency's transportation system. Promotes the well-being of children, participates in staff meetings/trainings and coordinates with staff from other agencies involved in providing services to children. Performs the following duties directly or through subordinates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing transportation requests, gas vouchers, mileage reimbursements, and completing authorizations in the FACES system.
- Communicating with staff and the public via email and phone and coordinating transportation for clients in conjunction with agency employees.
- Monitoring receipt of required documentation, coordinating Medicaid-eligible transports to meet reimbursement requirements, and preparing detailed reports.
- Transporting children or conducting agency business using personal or agency vehicles, ensuring compliance with licensing and underwriting standards.
- Providing supervision and professional development for staff, promoting teamwork, and ensuring youth transportation needs are met.
- Advocating for and practicing cultural responsiveness in daily activities.
- Avoiding unrelated tasks and maintaining focus on the position's responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human service field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in children and family service program or contract management.
- Valid driver's license and meet driving standards.
