Key responsibilities: Develop and articulate a bold technical vision for your domain Lead the design and implementation of high-quality technical solutions Serve as an authoritative expert on non-functional system characteristics Coach and mentor engineering and product teams to strengthen technical expertise Operate as a trusted advisor and influencer across the enterprise Champion the adoption of modern technologies and drive engineering excellence Effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree At least 7 years of data architecture or enterprise architecture experience At least 5 years of database management, Data Lake, or data warehouse experience At least 5 years of public cloud experience (AWS, Microsoft, Azure, Google Cloud) At least 2 years of experience building Real Time data products and data streaming applications Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field 3 years of architecting experience with AWS components such as S3, Glue, Aurora Global, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, Glacier, etc 7 years experience architecting and delivering data systems or platforms Experience with Big Data components such as AVRO, Parquet, Iceberg, Hudi, Spark, Kafka, Flink, etc 5 years of experience developing applications on Python, Java, Scala, or SQL Experience in building highly resilient distributed data systems and distributed data pipelines
